I have a strange noise in my toilet - sounds like a cricket but not as high pitched. It doesn't look like there is any water flow anywhere. It stops when I flush the toilet - and a little while later (not right after it fills) the noise comes back again. Can't for the life of me figure out where it's coming from. Any idesa??????

Cool

The noise is coming from the toilet tank water inlet valve assembly.
It's telling you to replace it.
Get a FluidMaster float-cup type assembly (about $7-$8 bucks), and replace it.
Good Luck! Mike
