We just realized that our sump pump bit the dust tonight. We pulled it out and Boy was it gross! Bought the house last October, so this is a learning process.Buying a new pump tomorrow and want to know if anyone has any good tips on this venture? Tools, size, brand? Cool

Clean up your old sump pump and take it with you to get a replacement, if it was doing the job.
Replacing one usually involves no more than re-connnecting the new one to the discharge line and plugging it in.
Good Luck! Mike
