Question

We are building our own home. In the bathroom, we used 3/4" pvc and 1/2" cpvc. We installed a Price Pfister faucet in the shower/tub. When we turn the water on in the tub, the pressure is pretty good, when we turn the knob to have the water run through the shower head, the pressure decreases considerably.

Can you advise if there might be an installation problem?

Thanks.

Cool

You probably have one of those so-called "water-saver" showerheads.
Remove it, and then check the water pressure.
While you have it off, also check the showerhead for debris from new plumbing that could be clogging it.
If either of the above aren't it, you may have debris in the diverter valve, if it's all new.
(Old showerheads can get mineral buildup in them that restrict water flow, and it can be dissolved by soaking it overnight in vinegar.)
Good Luck! Mike
