I have a single lever control shower/tub faucet. I do not see a brand name on it. all copper pipes. When I turn one the faucet it starts with cold water and as I turn it to warm the pressure decreases a little then the water sputers on and off and the pipies vibrate very loudly. If I turn it all the way to hot it stops sputering and there is no vibrating. This only happens with the tub/shower, no other fixtures it the house do that. I bought the house recently and its been happening ever since.
thank you
Kevin

Cool

Look in "Repair/Fix-It" above under Plumbing, Water Supply, and Faucet Basics to help you determine which type of single-handle faucet that you have.
You should be able to use the illustrated info to take your's apart, get repair parts, and fix it.
Good Luck!
Mike
