Unhappy

Okay, this is for all you plumbing experts... who know that wisdom comes with experience.

I was attempting to clean up a hot-tub "repair", a leaking PVC union & O-ring that were COVERED with pipe dope (by previous home & tub owner).

My mistake was... I wore a fleece sweatshirt while working, and I got a glob of pipe dope on it.

Here's the question... how do you clean up pipe dope from clothes?

TIA for the advice.

...and how did the tub repair work? Well, the old O-ring didn't hold, so I drained the tub. I will replace the entire union later.

Cool

You might try posting the pipe dope question over in the Cleaning forum.
They're pretty good about stuff like that.
Good Luck!

How about taking it to the dry cleaner?

You got me, never wore good clothes while plumbing, so I've had no need for the experience.

Sorry
