water leak outside bath faucet
#1
2 handles(hot & cold),Shower shut off & on, tub spiket(sp)
When I turn on the cold faucet water drips out of the hot one. Don't know if it happens the other way around
(hot on,drips out cold). Anyone know Why? & How to fix this? I am thinking washers, but not sure.
Thanks for the help. This is my first time here. Have heard that this is the place to go for the answers .

You probably need to just replace the 0-rings on the valve assemblies (and replace the washers while you're at it).

You will need a set of valve sockets (about $10 bucks) to find the one that fits your shower valves, in order to unscrew them counter-clockwise.
Take the valves with you to the store to get the right size o-rings and washers.
Good Luck!

It might only be the stem packings are loose, take handles and trim off and tighten up the 1st brass nut you see on the stem, then test it, if that solves the problem then put the handle and trim back on.
