crack in bathtub

While cleaning the bathtub in the master bath, my wife noticed a hole in the tub, where there had been a crack. It is a fiberglass tub, actually a shower/tub, and is approx. 15 years old. Is there a DIY repair kit available to repair this crack so water won't get under the tub and cause me more problems?

Fiberglass tub repair

There are fiberglass repair kits available. There are also professionals who specialize in such repairs. You can check with a local bath supplier.

kitchen drain

I just installed a new kitchen. The sink leeks slightly at the slip joint where the new white pvc goes into the wall plumbing. I have gled on a new reduction coupling. I am under the impression that this connection does not need to be glued? Any suggestions would be appriciated.:rolleyes:

We left on vacation about 1 month ago for 7 days and prior to our departure I shutoff the supply line to our two toilets in our upstairs bathrooms. Upon our return, I turned the supply lines back "on". Since then the pipes seem to make a moaning noise for appx. 3-5 seconds after the toilets are flushed or the sinks are used. Can someone please advice me on possible causes and remedies?
