Wink bathtub faucets

I want to fill an old cast iron tub at the speed of regular bathtub faucets but want to do it inexpensively. The look of outdoor hose bibbs would be Ok, but will they withstand hot water? I've looked at laundry faucets and they would be a perfect fit, but I'm afraid of a slow fill. I had a lavatory faucet there recently that was just way too slow. Before the remodel, I had regular tub faucets coming through a "wall" with a spout and they filled fast, but gave trouble, perhaps due to infrequent use. The same faucets have lasted 20 yrs upstairs in a shower that is used every day. I now have a 4" center deck-mount arrangement, but the wooden tub-surround is something that can be made to accommodate either deck or wall fill. Separate spouts would also be OK. I just want plain faucets that deliver rapidly and at a plain price. Thanks for suggestions.

Outdoor hose bibbs, will not know whether the water is hot or cold. Buy the brass ones and they will last a lifetime.
