Tie-in to main drain

Tie-in to main drain
In adding a new bathroom to my house, I need to tie a 3" waste line into an existing line. The only place I can do this is about 3' above the basement slab. The existing waste line runs vert out of the slab and then branches out into several directions just below the joist. How do you cut the existing 4" ABS and bend it out to get a standard sanitary-T to fit in the new open space? Is there a minimum that the existing vert line needs to go into the new tee and still make a good tight seal?

The ABS can be cut with a hacksaw or sawzall.
The pipe ends should fully seat into the ends of the sanitary-T and glued with ABS glue (assuming sanitary-T is ABS).
Good Luck!
