Question water heater

The hot water is inconsistent. Some mornings it takes 10 min. to get the water hot then it's still not hot enough. The boiler is 6 months old, I've increased the temp. guage and still having problems. Some times it's so hot it could scold you. What's the problem.

Who installed the heater? It should be under warranty, if there is something wrong with it. My best guess is possibly elements or the stats are not working correctly.

When you say boiler I'm not sure you really mean a boiler or your really talking about a water heater.

I'm not certified to work on boilers so my knowledge of them are nill.

water heater

I have a gas water heater. I'ts only been 6months old. I really don't think its the water heater. I had the gas co. come and check it out and they had not problems with it. I saw some of your comments regarding similar issue. I think I'm going to check the shower valve maybe thats the problem?. What did you mean by elements?

Since you have a gas water heater, disregard the elements, try replacing the cartiage in the shower valve, it could very well be the source of the problem.
