ugly stick on things on bottom of tub

About three years ago we bought a beautiful little ranch style house. There is one problem - (well more than one) The previous owners put these ugly flower things on the bottom of the tub.(for grip, I think.) Now they are half worn off - and barely clinging to the ugly life they once had. (they are multi-colored!!!) Please help-How in the world can I remove them???

One of the Moderators told someone the other night about a product called Goop off and since I have heard a few good things about it. Haven't used it my self. If its a cast iron or enameled steel tub you could also try appyling 409 or a window cleaner liberally and carefully and slowly use a razor blade to scrape them off. You want the 409 or what ever you choose to use to act as a lubricant to keep from scratching the surface of the tub.Hope this helps
