Unhappy Gurgling toilet/s l o w drainage

We had a problem last month with the septic--things started to flow uphill. We had it pumped and all was well--or so we thought.

Three weeks after having the septic pumped we noticed that the water level in one of the toilets was several inches lower. Thinking that the recent rain we had might be the issue, we didn't worry too much. After several dry days, however, we are having a problem with draining. Although the toilet flushes first thing with no problem, sometimes the other toilet won't flush or the water in the tub doesn't drain. And if that's not enough, the toilet will completely empty (maybe because of standing water in the tub?). Somthing different started yesterday: when water is run from the sink or tub, the toilet gurgles--doesn't empty--just gurgles.

I've read a dozen articles and they all recommend we have it pumped. Since we did this recently (tomorrow will be 4 months)--I don't see how that's going to work.

Is there something else we can check?

Cool

You have a blockage in the main line to the septic system tank.
Open a clean-out and snake that line out with a plumber's snake.
You should be able to rent one heavy and long enough.
Should solve your problem.
Good Luck!
