Question Knocking water pipes

We recently installed a new Whirlpool clothes washer, and also replaced the shut-off valve in the wall because the cold side would not shut off.
When doing the wash we get pipe banging. It is loud (vibrating) and annoying, and I want to figure out how to fix it, or have a plumber called.
We have always had a knocking when the dishwasher started up, but it is not as pronounced.
I saw an article about special devices with inert gas that can be installed in the feeding lines but did not give much more info.
Any recommended solutions?

Washing machine and dishwasher valves shut off abruptly, which will cause loose pipes in the wall to bang.
You can either clamp the pipes better, and/or install air hammer arresters, if you want, to help alleviate it.
Good luck!
