need to repair an old shower head...

hello everyone,

i have a handheld shower that i love and cannot find a replacement for. it is older, plastic and has some small cracks down the sides. i have used superglue several times. it would be okay for a while then develop more fine cracks. the cracks leak slightly, but i figure it's only a matter of time before it goes **sproinggggg** and that's it.

i'd like to find some product that i can paint or squish all over the plastic part to hold this thing together. i am very attached to it, it's just the perfect strength for my old apt., if that makes any sense to anyone....

i don't see how i can get the superglue off at this point. i think the fine cracks appeared because of a few times when the shower fell into the tub..

would joyously appreciate any help.

Cool

Saw some gray spray-on stuff on TV called LeakMender, I think, that might work if you can find it.
They used it on water hose, so it must be flexible, too.
