Self Adjusting Pipewrench??? Will this Work?
I was just dinkering around Ridgid's website and they supposedly made a self adjusting pipe wrench. Do you guys think this will really work and hold up to every day use?

I have a set of their self adjusting pliers that look great on paper. I've just about given up using the large set as it slips too much when I need to really crank down on something. Small set works okay on small fittings that do not require a large amount of torque.
I think I'll use someone else's adjusting pipe wrench before I run out and buy my own.

Ridgid Pipe Wrenches- Is about all we use where I work. Knowing there reputation for quality I for one wouldn't be surprised that this product would perform well. It looks like its similar in construction to the newer channel-lock pliers that I've seen being used, which hold real well. I'd be interested to know what the price of replacement jaws are though........
