Bathtub Pond

I'd like to use an older bathtub as a pond for a few fish in my garden. I also have an old handpump to use for a possible running water feature. Does anyone have any helpful hints on how to set this up???

Copperlilac,
Sorry no one has responded to your post before this, I'll give it a try.

I don't know if your going to leave the tub above ground or bury it, but a small pump could be plumbed to the tub drain and pump the water via tubing up into the old hand well pump. Or it may be better and easier to clean the pump filter by just dropping the pump into the pond and have the tubing directed to the handpump.
Keep the pump off the very bottom cuz if any leak should develop in the line somewhere the tub won't completely empty and leave your fishies high and dry.
