WiFi controlled 12 volt pond pumps

I知 developing two small outside water features, each using a 12 volt water pump. I知 switching the pump I知 using for development on and off using crocodile clips. The 12 volt battery is charged by a solar panel and converter set-up. I want to be able to switch the two pumps I will be using in the finished project using my phone via WiFi. Does anyone have any suggestions for the equipment I need to do this?

Welcome to the forums.

There are modules that run on 12vdc that will connect via wifi to your home network..... not directly to your phone. There is no module that's cost effective that your phone can directly communicate with.

In order to use a module like I've described..... your wifi network would need to reach the pond areas with reasonable strength. Then you would connect using an app on your phone provided by the module company. Some modules like the one in the link can communicate via Alexa.
