can i install an inground pool

hi

my neighbors have built in pools but ours has always been above ground since before we moved in. how do we determine if we too can have an inground as in ledge or high water table problems...

thanks

Inground pool

In areas where there is a lot of water in the soil, concrete is reportedly a better choice than a vinyl liner because it's easier to deal with concrete than vinyl in a wet hole. Fiberglass is another option that works well in different climates and in all soil conditions, whether you have moisture, rocks, and freeze-thaw conditions because of its flexibility. Shop around with the local pool dealers in your area and explore your options.
