Angry rash

some kids have gotten a rash from swimming in the pool. the ph is low and have been adding ph+ (for 20k pool) for a couple of days now but the ph remains low. i am assuming that the rash is from the low ph. any comments?
noticed that some of you are using borax. is this a good alternative?

Your $$$ ph+ has the exact same ingredient in it as my $ Borax. They both contain 100% sodium tetraborate, which is mined by ONE company in the world, US Borax. Now you know one of the dirty pool secrets, please spread the word!

Rash

From what I read, there tends to be a higher incidence of rash associated with brominated pools than chlorinated pools. Have your pool water tested by your local pool service. Shock to sanitize. Reactions to pool chemicals tend to be rare. Most are bacterial related. High temperatures and lots of activity can overwhelm sanitizers and pool chemical balance.
