Pool Equipment Plumbing

I have an older pool that was uses 1.5" Copper plumbing. I want to move the equipment a little further back using PVC piping. What is the best method for coupling the PVC and Copper piping?

If you look around there you can find pvc to copper or just pipe theard. Ask for a MPT TO copper 1 1/2" to 1 1/2"solder it on the copper and a FPT TO PVC 1 1/2" to 1 1/2" use sch 40 pipe and any valves I use the Jandy valves
