Sani-Tred Products? (Permaflex, LRB)

Hi all-

Has anyone had experience using Sani-Tred products? They make pool sealant/liner

They say it can be used to fill, coat, waterproof and adhere concrete, wood, fiberglass and metal. I am thinking of using it to waterproof the interior of a home made wooden hot tub (see the thread called "Seeking plans for homemade hot tub" in this forum.)

Any info about this company (based on actual experience) would be very welcome.

Thanks and regards, Jessica

Hi Raoena, never heard of it , but personaly Id use marine resin and fiberglass mat [ if needed for strength, you can buy 1 gallon cans at home depot, lowes, for around $ 30.00 its translucent in color, however you can add whatever color you would like when mixing, probably take 2 gallons , tub has to be clean , use acetone for cleaning oils, sand if you have an smooth spots the wood has to be dry, dry, dry. tighten the metal bands prior to coating as when the wood is dry it shrinks.

hope this helps in some way, steve
