Angry Above Ground Pool won't get clean, green, things floating

Here's the problem, like everyone else right now they are trying to get the pool clean and clear. We have an 18 foot above ground pool with a sand filter (tritan I think). Just got done vacuuming it out. I threw away the cover for the winter and have alot more things on the bottom than normal. Its also green, you can barely see the bottom when no one is in it. We put the chlorine, algaeside, clarifier in it yesterday. But when I started vacuuming it stirred up alot of stuff. I backwashed it and just don't know how to get this thing clear, clean and ready to use. Please help!!!!!, I need advice. THANKS.

Let the pump run. When it slows down back wash the filter . shock it real heavy and check the alkalinity in it.

in addition to what Ed said, buy a coagulating agean from your pool store, this will help remove smaller particles from your pool after backwashing you will have to re add,

question , how long has it been since you changed the sand in your filter ? ?
