Water heater problem

I have a swimming pool water heater.I got the pilot light going,but heater doesnt come on when i turn the switch "on". My pressure switch is a year old,i tryed to by pass it by connecting 2 wires together,no lUCK.
ANY SUGGESTIONS,

I am not familiar with pool heaters so I am sorry I can't help you regarding these.

The best bet would be to contact a pool sales/supplier in your area for tech service to get background info on your brand of heater.

You have a lot of ifs here. First is there power to the unit?
If no power you can have a millivolt generator or thermopile there that makes the unit work. This is like a thermocouple. When you light the pilot it makes the electric that works the valve. So find out what you have. If it is a millivolt take it out and with you and get a new one.
