Question New Pool Liner or Cement it?

I have an 18'x36' oval inground pool with a "hopper style" bottom. (8 ft deep in the deep end). My liner is about 15-20 years old and in pretty bad shape. I have repaired it enough to get me through this summer, but next year I have a decision to make. I have been pricing 30 mil vinyl liners and I can get one (DIY installation) for around $1000.

Has anyone had experience putting in a new liner, and if so, just how difficult is it? Also, I would like to know if anyone has any idea if I could just cement my pool instead of going to another vinyl liner? How many grand would I be looking at for that?

Thanks a bunch,
Matt

Wink

I for sure would call around there and ask. Find the guys that gun the cement in and get a price right from them. Then call around for the company that does the Marcite there. And you got it all it

Yes a new liner will be a job, lots of work and its d** heavy
