Air Jets or water jets? (should be posted in Bathrooms)

HI - this should really be posted in bathrooms, but everything I post there gets moved here - sorry.

Has anyone gone through the air-jets or water-jets decision process for a bathroom tub/whirlpool? If so - what did you find? My wife and i find the data very conflicting.

thanks
/j

Hi Jeffw_00 Ive worked on a very few bath " tubs " yes this is a cross / over situation because plumbers install wirlpool baths which is basically what were refering to, however [ & heres where I got involved } there are jets identical to the jets you see in a spa they are generally smaller only due to size limitations, the air is drawn in through the jet orifice the same as a spa, the pump is generally down sized but does an excellent job because of such a short plumbing run and there is no filter to restrict flow.

hope this helps some,

steve
