I had those too when I first opened my pool. I have no idea what they are and I don’t know if they’re harmful or not. But I do know they are very hard to kill! You have to use a LOT of shock, vacuum and backwash your pool frequently; most of them should get trapped in your leaf basket, so be sure to empty that often (I wouldn’t touch them if I were you! Who knows, they could try to burrow into your skin LOL).

If you keep doing that they should eventually disappear. That’s what worked for me anyway.

not to worry, when it rains heavy, or you water alot you will get them, simply vacuum them up and backwash your filter. make sure your chems are up and have a cup of coffee.
