AAAAAAK Tub Jets Have Lost Power!!!

Eeeeek, my tub jets have lost a lot of power, & I'm wondering what can I do about it? Is there something I need to clean, a filter that needs changin? Has anyone else had this problem? Thanks,

Hello: vintagemom

Could be any number of reasons for the problem. Check the pump area for restrictions and or parts which may cause such. Not sure how the piping or plumbing would be for the model and brand. Including that information may help the pros help you.

To hopefully better serve you with the help of professionals, your question was moved into the hot tubs and spas forum top. Since the tube is one with power jets, etc. it is more like a hot tube/spa than a standard bath tub.

Wink

look at the paper work on the spa you should have a filter there. You can have stuff like hair in the intake of the pumps impeller also.

Is this a jetted bath tub? If so, there's no filter and almost certainly the pumps impeller is clogged.
