rain forest blue instead of chlorine?

rain forest blue instead of chlorine?

Anyone out there use the copper stuff, called rain Forest blue? I dont like to use chlorine and I am wondering if this is a safe alternative? thanks, RH

Sorry I have not heard of that at all. Is it like copper sulfate??If you dont want to use chlorine in the pool there. Id look into a salt water pool. That would be the way to go for sure. my next pool Im going to put it in for sure. We put one in on my daughters pool here 2 years ago. Works like a top. For just over a year she put in about 80lb of salt is all . There is no salt taste to it and it keep the pool just fine and clean. I dont have the www. for it here. searsh out Auto pilot pool for salt and Kreepy Klear works off electric control in the water pipes.

but............... a salt system IS in fact chlorine. The salt is simply electrically converted to chlorine.

Yes it is for sure but the level of the chlorine stays low to just what you need all teh time . so its not so hard on your body. I know the kids like it better than putting some in all the time.

Hi roadhawg3 I agree with ed on the chlorine generating system, yes it does produce chlorine, but the water feels silky, and no eye irritation or smell,
