First Time Spa Owner- Cleaning Advice Needed

Hello,
I purchased a home with a 300 gallon spa. I have been reading this forum and other websites to get ideas of what I need to do to clean and maintain it. I have to say I am very overwhelmed with the info.

The spa was well maintained by the previous owners. I already drained the spa, which was easy. Now I'm looking at the box of spa chemicals left by the old owners and I really don't know what to use first and so on. I'm tempted to hire a service to do the job. Does anyone have a good website that have instructions for beginners? What would be the best approach to tackling this project? Help appreciated.

We had a 225 gal spa at our previous residence and about all I ever did was drain and refill a couple of times a year and used floating bromine cartridges for sanitizer. You can get disposable ones at most stores, just have to figure out what setting to use on them which you can do with a test kit.
