I have an inground pool. I notice that I am getting some flaking of the coping (thin pieces of the coping coming loose). Not very extensive, but unsightly where it exists. I am wondering if I can clean up the coping and paint it. Many thanks.

The coping forms the lip of the pool. It is made up of gray/white pieces of pre-poured concrete about 3 inches in width with grout in between each piece. My problem is that a very thin layer of the concrete is flaking off some of the coping blocks. I would like to clean them up and paint them if possible. Hope this helps explain my problem better. Thanks for your help.

Thumbs up

Not sure here put I take a wire brush to it and then try some paint to it in one spot.
