wrinkled vinyl liner
Question?
wrinkles in the shallow end of 18 x 36 inground pool. I have draind the pool down to just the deep end. I pulled the liner from the rail, only to find water behind the liner down by the vermiculite bottom, I dont think that I have a leak because the pool lever before draining had not changes, I believe this water is from a high water table.
Do I need to remove this water, or will the liner suck back to the floor and walls with a vaccuum.

is the pool relatively new? We had a huge ran soon after I install my pool and the liner "floated" as water penetrated the newly backfilled soil before it was totally compacted. The pool company sucked the water out and pulled the wrinkles out with a toilet plunger. If water and air pressure dont force the water out it will lay in the cove between the bottom and wall which makes it suceptible to leaking if a toy or foot place pressure in the area elevated by the water behind the liner. At a minimum I would get some water back into the liner to prevent more wrinkles
