Inaccurate hottub temperature reading

I have a 1997/98 model Beachcomber 730 hottub that is giving me a temperature reading 2 - 3 degrees lower than the actual temperature of the water when I measure it with a thermometer. The display light on the digital display panel is out as well. Are these things easy to fix or should I call a technician?

Try another thermometer, or several. You'll find no two thermometers are going to give you the exact same reading unless they are calibrated.

I wouldn't worry about, set the water to a temp you like, just use the thermometer as rough point.

You could probably replace the light yourself, but you'd need a parts break down to even see if it's replaceable as a single piece or not.

try this, heat the spa up , apx 102 then check the temperature using a human themometer , you know the type, your mama used to place under your tongue, youll will get an accurate reading.
