.....pool pump suction problem

my pump wont suck water into the skimmer or sucks very slow i ran a new line from pump to the pool it still wont suck. impeller is clean.i have new filter grides. do i have a cloug some where?......thanx

Put a water hosewith a rag around it in the pump intake right at the pump. Will the water come out at the skimmer ok????

yes water comes out ok i did that on both ends

check for air leak on suction side of pump, all valves, pipe into front of pump, pump lid, o-ring and pump seal,

yes i found one leak fixed it water still moveing slow...now what...thanx

When the pump is on do you get some water and lots of air? You say you ran the hose water both ways. I Had to go into mine about 3 months ago. After digging a lot found a 90oL was cracked on the back side of it down under the skimmer

it is water & air tight but still slow as a house drane what can i do to speed it up to run the krippy...thanks
