above ground pool location

We've decided to get a 20' above-ground pool- In order to install the pool in our yard- I need to remove 2 pine trees (one is about 40' tall- the other is about 20')- Once I remove the trees and have the stumps grinded down- Is it a good idea to have the pool installed in that area?? Will the roots decompose and cause the pool to sink eventually??
What are my options?

As long as you make sure they grind away the stumps completely you should be ok. Decomposing roots shouldn't pose to much of a risk. Just try to stay away from the stumps as much as possible. Some tree companies only grind the stumps down a few inches below the ground. If the stumps aren't completed gone and start to decay that can cause a problem
