vinyl linner replacement

Anyone know how much for inground vinyl replace cost? and how does it last ? I live in Boston, MA.

My pool at 8' bottom side, it has a little rust sign ( I believe that was something stick on it and it was gone now ), its size is just about 1 inch screw. Do I need to use vinyl patch to seal it? or just leave it alone.

thanks

Hello,

You may have found this out by now but a new liner costs about $2500-3000 or so is what I understand. They last 15-20 years though and generally speaking is still lower in cost to maintain than a cement one in the long run.

If you just have a 1 inch hole, go to the pool store and get a $6 pool patch kit, go underwater, and seal her up.

if the only problem is the rust stain, there is no need to replace the liner.
