what to do next?

I just refilled my pool with water...
What do I do next to treat the water and make sure it is balanced correctly?

Thanks in advance,

Garifo.

1. you need to add conditioner to obtain 50 ppm [ parts per million ]

2. adjust chlorine level to 2.0 - 3.0

3. add enough muratic acid to put your ph between 7.4 - 7.6

youll note i did not tell you how much of what to add , as ALL chemical additions are dependent upon total gallonage of your pool.

for square or rectangle multiply length x width x ave. depth x 7.5
for round multiply diameter across say its 18 ft. you would multiply 18 x 18 x ave. depth x 5.9 , if its a free form , walk around the perimeter with a walking rule , say its 90 perimeter ft. multiply 90 x 90 x ave depth x 4.165

Wink

You only need the chlorine between 1.0 and 1.5 You didnt say anything about the alkalinity. dont forget that.
