Spa pump bearing noise

I have a Leisure Bay 19200S2 spa. Its making a whining noise when the pump is running which I suspect to be a bearing going out. I believe there are bearing in the wet end as well as the pump motor itself, right? Assuming so, how can I best determine which part needs to be replaced?

The pump is listed on the spec sheet as a 1 x3 HP, 2 speed, 56 frame. Its 220v. Not sure what brand it is, panels not removed yet. Just trying to get an idea of what I'm up against before I start taking it apart.

Thanks for any suggestions.

Tom
