Rebar Stain

We have a 9 year old pool (10000 gallon blue marcite) that has two rebar stains. My question is is there any way to fix the problem other than draining the pool and having someone cut out the marcite and replaster it? If there is a product that I can use to do this I would prefer to becuase of the cost...

Check the yellow pages you can find someone that will dive down and fix the problem. It can be expensive but sometimes it is better than draining your pool. They will actually grind down the spot at the rust stain and then patch it. The stain is caused due to the rebar being to close to the surface. If the rebar is not lowered from the surface and you cover it the stain will just reappear.
