pool leak in concrete wall

I have an inground pool that is leaking through a crack in the side wall. Any suggestions on how to patch it? Any assistance would be very appreciated.

It is a hairline crack that starts at the skimmer opening and almost reaches the pool floor. It is really obvious when I dug down on the outside wall. The pool loses about 1/2 to 1 inch a day.

The pool is not drained now, but can be if that is required. Thanks again for the help.

I don't know if anyone has had time to respond, but is marine 5200 the best way to go? If so, where can I buy it? How is it applied?

I read something about a putty that might could work. Has anyone tried this?

Thanks for the reply Ed.

Another question I have is that I did find a company that supplied underwater plaster patch. Do you think I could get away cleaning out the wall crack with a rasp or something like that and using the underwater patch?

Or, should I just bite the bullet and drain the pool so I can clean the crack out better and apply the marine 5200?

Id say its your call. First does the pool move any there. from winter to summer Is water in it all year how cold does it get there? You have to think about all of this If any expansion Id say try 5200.
