painting inground pool

I am considering painting my pool due to some minor pealing or etching of the surface. I was wondering if anybody has done this and have some "to do's and "not to do's". Also what paint might be the better value. The internet has prices from $ 45/gal to $ 140/gal

pool paint is not something you want to go cheap on. but don't get ripped either. the main thing about pool painting is the prep work, go the xtra mile on prep ,it will pay off in the long run.
the store i previously work for , we sold RAMUC pool paints. they are not cheap but the have a quaility product.
