Have hayward h250 heater pilot will not stay lit. Replaced thermopile and gas valve as well as claening orfices etc still no success. Any other ideas what may be the problem.

I would check the voltage coming off the thermopile. With a voltage meter set to DC, check leads of the thermopile at the gas valve. You should get around 500mv with the pilot burning and the burner off. If you don't, it's either a bad thermocouple (I know it's been changed) for a dirty pilot orifice not producing a strong flame.
