Pool Opening
Hello,
I just opened my pool and shocked it three days ago. The chlorine is still very high. Should I still put in Stabilizer? Do I need to get something that'll lower the chlorine?
Thanks in advance for the help!

i would grab a gallon of water and go to your local pool supply for a water anayalis. the prolbem with adding chems without a anaylis is like pouring money down the drain. water balance is optimum to any pool regiment. next is sanatizer and then housekeeping.

It should be fine, you prolly didn't have too much stuff to kill and that's why it's still high. What's your stabilizer level (CYA test)? You want it around 50 so the chlorine will be somewhat stabilized and last longer.
