We have a 12" pool with about 5121 litres of water - it's an Intex. We had a smaller pool before and couldn't find a pH down that we could cut down enough for the amount of water. We found some spa pH down and used that. My question is does using the spa pH down cause any problems, since it is after all a pool not a spa? Can we continue to use it?

It shouldn't, they're usually the same chemicals, just lower concentrations for the smaller volumes of water used in spas.

absolutely no problem using it, but regular ph down will work also, spa ph- costs more. You can also use muriatic acid but of course its liquid and need to be careful handling it.
