Pool Waste
I am getting tired of dragging the blue waste hose to the street whenever i have to take water out or backwash. I was thinking of running pvc under the ground from the waste pipe to the street and cut a hole in the curb. Should i run 1 1/2 inch or 2 inch pipe. All pool plumbing is 1 1/2 pipe
Is this Plausable?
Any tips to get pvc under sidewalk?
Any tips how i can cut the hole in the curb without damaging it too bad?

Depends on how far the run is and what hp your pump is and filter size. I would run in 2" just to be safe. You can rent a concrete saw or core drill from national hardware store. That would be what I would do.

How to get the pipe under the sidewalk?
This forum has a discussion about it.

Basically, you use a pressure washer or make one out of a length of 3/4" pvc pipe, cap the end, drill a hole in the cap. On the other end attach a fitting that will hook up to your garden hose. Dig a hole beside the sidewalk and use the pressure washer to tunnel under the sidewalk. Very messy. Use eye protection.
