flex waste pipe fittings

I want to reroute the waste pipe from the pool pump. This will require adding a length of pipe and joining it to the existing.

This is the white flexible 1 1/2" stuff. The fitting currently at the pump was cemented with a blue colored cement, from what I can tell. Or maybe that was the solvent?

Anyway, the questions are:
Do I need special solvent and cement for it or will the stuff for ABS plumbing fittings do?
Can I use regular ABS fittings (like from Home Depot), or are they a specialty item (like from a pool supply store)?

What it sounds like you have PVC Flex, it uses the same glue/solvent and cleaner as rigid PVC and the same fittings.
