Anti-entrapment device

I am required to install an anti-entrapment device on the suction outlet in my in-ground swimming pool. I am able to find an anti-entrapment cover on-line. What is involved in installing it? Does someone need to actually dive down to the bottom of the pool to install it? What type of companies would do the work? I have checked around but have not been able to find anyone who can do the work.

Just about any pool service company will be able to do the work. You could even do it yourself once you find the right parts. It is simply a matter of finding the right screw hole pattern. And yes. Someone has to dive down to the bottom of the pool, unless it is done at a time when there is no water in there...
