Hayward self-clean vacuum gets stuck

Hi, I recently replaced our older Hayward vacuum...1 of the reasons...it kept getting stuck on the lowest step and wouldn't budge (it seems to go to the exact same spot, too). Bought a brand new one and it does the same thing. Also, just replaced pump and motor this week. Sand filter was recently cleaned as well. Other than getting stuck, it has great suction and moves around quite fast.
Any suggestions?

Try moving your return outlets (eyeballs) to flow in a different location.

sounds like yo have too much suction, try adjusting it where it moves , but does not race around, and also follow todrut's advise
