Hayward h 150 or 250 ?

My Hayward H150 natural gas heater is done, I am looking to replace and have quotes for the 150 and 250 and there is little difference in the price. If I get the 150 I already have all the piping in place etc if I go up to 250 do I have to change the piping to accomodate the larger unit and btu's

Yes you will have to change plumbing. You'll get a little quicker heat up to temp with the bigger. You should make sure what size your pool size would call for.
