Pool Liner Patching?
Over the winter some ice tore my liner just below the return port. It is a fairly large tear. After pricing new liners and installation costs it doesn't seem like I can have it done for the summer.
Question: Is it possible to patch the liner; and what is the largest tear I can patch?

I had the same issue. Ice tore a hole. Go to the pool store and buy a kit. The choice was stick on or cement. I bought the cement one. It comes with like 18" of patch material. I used a coffee can and cut out a round patch. After it drys you cant even tell its there.

ask your local pool store for a piece of scrap vinyl from old demo patterns or they cut off another pool. Use liner glue and drain water below tear. Remove screws and faceplate, then patch at least 3" pass the tear all around. Let it dry overnight then put faceplate back on then cut the whole out. Done...
