have a above ground pool, dug up area for pool, put down weed killer, put roofing felt down and sand on top of this. still get weeds through the liner. went through 3 liners this summer. any help to stop the weeds?

Stained Gunite Pool

The snow has melted and I just pumped seven inches of water off of my pool cover. Have to start thinking about doing something to the pool walls this year. Gunite pool 24x36 with an eight foot deep-end. Bought house last year and pool is approx. 10-12 years old. Rust and other stains on bottom and walls. Do I scrub with muratic acid or what? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks, PS-FRANK
